Marking our 30th anniversary of championing Patient choice, we are pleased to present our new 2022 range of products.

The range includes Crown Choice and Crown Advantage in frozen packs, with Crown Advantage also available as chilled products.

New Crown Choice chilled products include a delicious Smoked Haddock Florentine Pasta in a creamy spinach cheese sauce with penne pasta (pictured above), and Pork Teriyaki, diced pork and mixed vegetables in a dark sweet and tangy sauce, whilst a Ginger Chocolate Chip Sponge, gives a warming touch to the hot dessert range.

The current desire to move more towards plant-based foods has seen the Crown Choice vegetarian menu extended to include new dishes such as Italian Potatoes and Soya in Peri Peri Sauce and soya-based Shepherd’s Pie and Bolognaise. More than half (57.5%) of the vegetarian range has been registered with Vegan Society and carry their logo as a sign of authenticity.

The frozen product range has been updated to meet with current demand and includes the addition of pork meatballs in a sweet and spicy chipotle sauce. The range of vegetarian and vegan dishes have also been extended with dishes such as a Butternut squash in a spicy caramelised onion, coconut and lentil dal served with basmati rice. The reduced sugar dessert range has also been extended with a reduced sugar Eve’s pudding.

Company Dietitian, Ruth Smith, comments: “Whenever we change our menu range, we always look to reflect the current tastes. There is a defernite move towards plant-based foods which we have taken into account in the menus, which we believe will prove to be very popular.”

The new range will be available from 27th March.
