The PS100 group will host a culinary showcase and panel discussion on how the hospitality industry can meet the nutritional needs of the nation.
This will follow the PS100 showcase earlier in the day, which will feature LACA’s School Chef of the Year Kath Breckon, the HCA’s Richard Kirton and Ian Cannon, as well as the NACC’s Martin McKee and Tony Green.
The HCA’s Richard Kirton and Ian Cannon from North Tee’s & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust were the winners in the HCA’s Hot Cookery Competition held at Hotelympia, March 2016, taking home Silver Best-In-Class.
Judging that competition, award winning Chef Hayden Groves recognised the constraints and unique environments that hospital chefs have to work under, producing scaled up dining every day.
“It’s a privilege to be asked to judge – these guys do fantastic essential cooking day in day out”
Paul Howell of Anglia Crown comments;
“This new cooking showcase by PS100 at the Great Hospitality Show brings together public sector caterers from all areas including hospitals, schools, healthcare and the prison service. It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase some of the excellent talent we have within the industry and Anglia Crown is delighted to support them”
The PS100 group is an united voice on key issues for the public sector caterers, which aims to bring catering issues to the attention of Government and influence policy on health, nutrition and well-being.
Previously Anglia Crown’s Head of Commercial Paul Howell joined the top twenty most influential decision makers in public sector catering for their annual House of Commons round table event.
